Terms of Service – WirNear
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the WirNear mobile application (“WirNear”, “the App”, “we”, “us”).
By creating an account or using WirNear, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.

2. Purpose of WirNear
WirNear is a social platform designed to facilitate voluntary, proximity-based social interactions. The App enables users to discover and connect with other users within a self-defined radius without revealing exact locations.
WirNear is not a dating service and does not guarantee meetings, matches, or interactions.
3. Eligibility
To use WirNear, you must:
- Meet the minimum age requirements set by the App Store
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Use the App in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms
We reserve the right to deny access if eligibility requirements are not met.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- All activities occurring under your account
- Immediately notifying us of unauthorized use
Accounts are personal and may not be transferred or shared.
5. User Content (Including Stories)
5.1 Ownership
You retain full ownership of all content you upload, including profile information, messages, images, videos, and Stories.
5.2 License to WirNear
By uploading content, you grant WirNear a non-exclusive, revocable, limited license to store, process, and display such content solely for operating and displaying the App.
This license ends when the content is deleted or your account is terminated.
5.3 Stories (Ephemeral Content)
- Stories are visible only for a limited time
- Stories can be deleted by the user at any time
- Stories are automatically removed after no more than 14 days
5.4 Content Removal
You may delete your content at any time. WirNear reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, coerce, or abuse other users
- Use the App for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes
- Upload illegal, offensive, discriminatory, or sexual content
- Misuse proximity features to stalk or intimidate others
- Circumvent security, moderation, or reporting mechanisms
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
7. Moderation and Enforcement
To protect the community, WirNear may:
- Review, restrict, or remove content
- Temporarily or permanently suspend accounts
- Limit features or access without prior notice
These measures may be taken if there is a violation of these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or applicable law.
8. Reporting and Safety
WirNear provides reporting and blocking tools to ensure user safety. Users are encouraged to report inappropriate behavior or content. Reports are reviewed in accordance with our moderation policies.
9. Availability and Changes
WirNear is provided on an “as available” basis.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability
- Features may change during testing or development
- We may update or modify the App at any time
10. Future Paid Features and Advertising
WirNear may introduce optional paid features, including:
- In-app purchases
- Premium features
- Advertising or sponsored content
Any paid or advertising features will be clearly disclosed and subject to separate consent where required.
11. Termination
You may stop using WirNear and delete your account at any time.
WirNear may terminate or suspend access if:
- These Terms are violated
- Continued use poses a risk to other users or the platform
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- WirNear is not liable for user-generated content
- WirNear does not guarantee interactions
- Use of the App is at your own risk
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, excluding conflict-of-law provisions.
Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, users will be informed within the App. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
